Nephews made this for their Mother for Christmas. I havent spoken to them yet but I saw it at her place this morning while visiting. I believe she said they are thinking about making and selling a few. Would you be interested???
It stands about 18 inches tall or so.

Dinner at the Lake Dawson Restaurant

We were invited out to a nice meal at the Lake Dawson Restaurant for our 37th Wedding Anniversary. It was a great evening. The meal consisted of - fresh made "Bloody Marys", shrimp cocktails, fresh bluegill and catfish from Lake Dawson, cabbage stuffed with Vidalia onion and covered with a fine sauce, white beans, Lance's special Macaroni Salad, fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions, scratchmade "hushpuppies" and guacamole dip with tortilla chips. Soft music played in the background as we enjoyed our meal.
The Lake Dawson Restaurant sits on Green Tree Road near Dawson, Mo and within sight of Lake Dawson.

We Did It

I was on my way to invest more money at Home Depot this morning, trying to do my part to stimulate the economy.

I found myself behind this little rice burner of a car bearing a bumper sticker that read, "We did it!" - "Obama / Biden".

Well, as luck would have it she pulled along side of me at a red light about a half mile down the road.

I beeped my horn and gave her a big thumbs up. She rolled down her window and I said, "I love your bumper sticker!”

She heartily thanked me.

And I quickly added, "It's really good that you are taking responsibility for your mistake!"

She gave me the finger and drove off. –
