i'm buying new curtains
for the window to my soul
the old ones are drab
and block the sun

i'll windex the panes
so the light can come in
an join me inside
for some fun

i'll dust all the sills
and sweep out the webs
and shine it up clean as can be

i'm staying it seems
so i might as well make it
a place that is just right for me....
