"The Sky is the Limit"

I met the author of "The Sky is the Limit" and he presented me an autographed copy of his book. It is written by Susie Knust as told by Ralph K. Manley. Mr. Manley jumped out of a perfectly good airplane (it was when it left England) behind enemy lines in the predawn hours before the D-Day Invasion of Normandy. It is a real interesting read and it did not take me long to finish the book. Mr Manley was born and raised in Springfield , Mo and after the war he came back home to make his fortune and teach.
Mr Manley has a farm south of Norwood and it is mentioned in his book. I had the privilege of being able to purchase the standing hay on it this year and it has on of the quietest, prettiest valleys I have had the pleasure of harvesting hay from. I made a short video of the valley as I was leaving the field when I was done baling. It is very long but not very wide. The video can be accessed here: Manley Valley Video Haying in the Bottom
I can easily advise those that are interested in real life stories and not fiction to read this book. It was printed in Marshfield, Missouri by Birch Creek Publishing in 2006.
