"Black Friday"
This morning my Wife, Glinda and Daughter, Mitzi decided to experience the "Blitz" at Wal-Mart that is always part of what retailers call "Black Friday". Wal-mart was scheduled to open with incredible savings at precisely 5:00 a. m.
I arose at 3:30 a. m., my usual time and I found Glinda was already up and just about ready. I am glad she was as she had the coffeee already done and I didn't have to wait to get a cup. We headed out right at 4:00 a. m. as she was supposed to go into Mitzi's and wake her up and I was going on to the barn to start the morning chores. Much to our surprise we met Mitzi coming up to see what was taking us so long. Glinda and Mitzi headed to Wal-Mart to experience the "rush", I on the other hand, started the morning chores.
I called them at 10 minutes before 5:00 a. m. to inquire about the crowd and how long the line was but Mitzi told me that they were already in the store and waiting beside the items that they wished to purchase. She also told me that my Daughter-in-Law, Amanda was already there also.
I was just about finished with the morning chores when they arrived back home. Needless to say they had their arms full of "Bargains"
Glinda came on out to the barn and we visited while I finished washing up the barn. Glinda said they also saw my Brother Dean and his Wife Kim, my Sister-in-Law Malea (married to by Brother Jeremiah), our Niece, Taylor Mayfield, her Aunt Jamie Cramer and Susie Dodds, that she can remember. Mitzi told me that the parking lot was absolutely full when they left the store at 5:45 a. m.
She also told me that while they were waiting they called my Wife's Sister, Mary to see if she was coming but she didn't get up and answer the telephone.
I suppose they had a great time.
