Jacob lends a hand at Kelley's Dairy
My wife, Glinda, has been working each evening this week at Ava, Mo selling tickets to the Missouri Foxtrotters Association Annual Horse Show. I needed some help on Thursday in order to ensure that I was done with my chores in time to go to bingo at Mtn Grove VFW Charity Bingo.
I called his cell phone early Thursday morning to ask him if he would come and help me but his wife, Amanda, answered the phone and said he was in the bathroom. I may be lucky he was because I told her that I would like for him to come and help me and she replied "He'll be there." He may have tried to give me a story about having something to do. I told Glinda about what Amanda had said and she said "Be sure and get a picture." About 2:00 p. m. as I was heading to the barn I looked across the field, and lo and behold, there he was and bringing the cows in with him. We got started and got to have a real good visit with no distractions from children or wives as we milked. He was good help and we made good time and I was at bingo in plenty of time. He sure was a lot of help. As we were walking back to the house he told me that it was not nearly as hard or as nasty as he remembered from his youth. The pictures below were taken at Glinda's request.

Thanks Jacob for your help. It was very much appreciated.
