Kelley's Dairy -Wright County Sheriff's Race

I have known both the current Sheriff and the challenger for a long long time.  I consider both Glen and Hobe to be friends of mine.  I have an inquiry by "anonymous" in the comments section of my entry about Sarah Steelman asking me just who I am for in the Sheriff's race so I thought I would post an endorsement.
The current sheriff, Glen Adler, like I said has been a long time friend.  Hobe Johnson has also been a long time friend. I have always tended to vote for a veteran whenever there is one in any particular race unless he has proven to me in some way to be a jerk and that is not the case here.
Kelleys Dairy is endorsing Hobe Johnson for Sheriff.  I believe he will be a great sheriff for Wright County.  I ask and urge all my readers to consider voting for a man that has worn his country's uniform.  One cannot serve as long as Hobe did without developing leadership skills that would be necessary in maintaining a Sheriff's Dept.
I would like to add a little history of the Wright County Sheriff's Dept.  Please bear with me as I ramble on.  The first sheriff that I can remember was Jim Baker who died in office (I think around 1965-66).  Rex Kelley (a cousin), Norwood  was appointed to fill out the remainder of the term.  He went on to be re-elected to two more terms.  Leo Bradshaw (also a distant cousin), Norwood challenged him for the office and won.  He served a total of twelve years before deciding to retire.  Leo was followed by Gareld Mitchell (retired Mo State Highway Patrol), Mansfield, who had one four year term who was then defeated by Terry Gates (retired Mo State Highway Patrol), Hartville.  The current Sheriff, Glen Adler, Norwood then won a three way race between Gates, Johnson and himself.  I have to say I have gotten along with all the past Sheriffs of the county and am able to have counted them all as friends.  Former Sheriffs Kelley and Mitchell are now deceased.
