New Arrival at Kelley's Dairy

    Brown Swiss normally do not look like this but then again this one is not all Brown Swiss. Nine months ago my neighbor's Brangus bull jumped the fence and bred two of my heifers.  This little girl is the first one born.  I am still waiting for the other one but it will not be long.  This girl should make a really good beef cow though as she will have plenty of milk to raise her calf when she gets to that point.  Oh well, just one of the hazards of having neighbors that own cattle.  I am thankful that the heifer calved alright and delivered this healthy heifer mongrel.
