"Skeezix" Birthday in Norwood, Mo
My oldest grandson "Skeezix" (in blue) turns 10 tomorrow the 14th of October and his Mom and Dad had a party for him in Norwood Park today. Many of his friends were invited and came and enjoyed the afternoon with him. Cake, Gatorade and fun was had by all.
I noticed this scene of the back of the "Old Norwood Hotel" and could not resist adding it here.
Early in the twentieth century traveling salesmen would ride the train to town to sell their wares and stay in the old hotel until the train came through the next day.
