The Queen
The Queen
Poised on a throne, sunlit and green
whirring wings, bees hum at your feet,
such loyalty I've never seen,
aspects of royalty complete.
How did you earn this luscious seat?
Grasses wave. Winds sing your praises.
Why are you queen of the street?
Made royal by stunned men's gazes.
