For This Night Only
His touch ignites.
For This Night Only
His touch ignites.
Long slender fingers
exuding elegance
like no other man.
My heart dances
with his
but they are macabre
these feelings
his kiss
inspires.
His hair, sleek
and black
like his demeanor
surround
a sculpted face
that never smiles.
Yet he makes me yearn.
Pale skin igniting.
Fire eyes
and fingers
that seek out
every vulnerability.
And then the fangs
of my lover...
for this one night only
our succulent passion,
my night with a vampire.

The politics of deviance
Is it implicit in the legend that vampires are singularly sexual creatures capable of seducing any woman with their charms? And why are vampires primarily male, is it because women buy the vast majority of romance novels (apologies to Anne rice)?
I just want to know why a vampire couldn't be slight paunchy, balding a bit and inclined to play darts on Wednesday night...
My reservations aside, I still enjoyed this, JO... nice job. |

Good Idea!
JO That is such a good idea. I think I'll add it as a prompt. I'm serious...I'd love to do a satire on this. Maybe you would, too? |

| Very good Jo. The way you describe vampires, you make us want to run out and get one! |

| Very good, I'm there watching the night of passion - just before death. |
