Love in the Rain

I hear her plaintive whispers near
outside my window songs of love.
She comes at night, my lady dear,
her lips made moist from rain above.
With mournful notes, my lovely dove
sings her heart through pounding shower.
Sweet words purified from above.
Rain drenched words, my lady's power.
