Old Geezers Sitting
Tall Tales and Yellow Sun
Old geezers sitting, yellow sun
baking foreheads with straw hat lace
as diverse as their tall tales spun
of another day, better place.
Another day, a better place,
their misty words roll on nonstop.
Sentimental and out of place
in front of Ralph's grand barber shop.
The good old days, that sweet old time
is gone and won't be seen again,
replaced by new days over time
til yesterday comes round again.
