Giggling
(In case you haven't noticed, we're taking a trip through the zoo in poetry)

Giggling
Giggling, swinging through trees
without a care.
Are you laughing at me?
Or unaware...
I'm watching from afar
your playful way.
Wondering how you do it
every day.
No bills in the jungle
Just time for fun
Piggyback rides
Through filtered sun.
Sunshine through jungle trees
Giggles galore.
Do monkeys have feelings?
Or nothing more?
Did I descend from apes?
Was I like you?
Swinging through trees giggling?
Sure hope it's true.

dragging my knuckles
ozy i don't know if I've ever swung from trees (fell out of a few in my youth) but when I'm at work I often feel like my knuckles drag the ground...
Fun poem |
