Here is a cake I did for a wedding on Thursday. It turned out good I think considering I had one of the biggest cake accidents ever!! After loading the cake I drove to my moms to drop Connor off before the wedding. I opened the trunk to show my mom the cake and I think I screamed! The top tier had fell completely over and was laying on it's side. The bottom two tiers had slid into each other and were smashed together. I hurried and grabbed them all and ran inside the house to repair. I luckily always bring some touch-up items but I didn't have near enough frosting for an accident like this. I called Jacob and he brought me more frosting. I had it pretty much repaired by the time he got there with the exception of the borders. I wasn't sure I could save it but it turned out ok.

Here is the cake I did on Saturday for the wedding of Anthony Pridemore and Danyiel Finch. It was a yucky weather for delivering a cake but the wedding was beautiful.

This week in Connor's class they are celebrating Dr.Seuss's birthday. Even though it wasn't Connors normal snack day his teacher had asked me about making a cake. I really enjoyed making this cake! Jacob helped me with some of the little characters on the side. There is green eggs and ham on the top, Thing 1 and Thing 2, and the famous goldfish. We had a lot of fun working on it. My only complaint was that I didn't have a big enough cake board for the brim of the hat. I wish it had been bigger but everyone loved it.
