I'm also a wife of a law enforcement officer and the types of guns on the streets scares me to death. Therfore I am for SOME types of regulation on very specific weapons. I realize that the criminals will always have guns, and they will in most cases have the most deadly. My husband wears a vest that is rated among the top of the class in police safety, and yet it isn't enough to stop everything. This does scare me.
My history professor Dr.Tyrrell said something last semester that stuck with me. "There has never a weapon made that hasn't been used". Although very obvious it makes one think about the types of weapons being made.
I will always be for gun rights even though my fears of some weapons.
I'm not sure the story behind the lady in the video. I am also not sure when it was filmed. I just felt she had an interesting point of view and I love what she says at the very end.

UPDATE: I done some research and she is a former Republican member of the House of Rep. from around 1996-2005, don't quote me on the dates. I believe she did not run in the 2006 election.
