Homemade Febreeze
This morning by an unfortunate turn of events I was in desperate need of some Febreeze. I went to grab the bottle only to find it empty. :(  I remembered seeing a recipe for homemade Febreeze and thought "What the heck. Right now I'm desperate enough to try anything." So, I mixed up my recipe and poured it into the old bottle. I was amazed. It worked!! It not only worked but it smelled just like Febreeze! Febreeze is expensive. I like to have it on hand, but everything adds up on a small budget. This recipe costs me pennies. I'll not buy another bottle of Febreeze again!

I thought I'd share the recipe.

2 cups water
2 tbsp baking soda
2 tsp lemon juice.

Just mix together and pour into a spray bottle. Another great thing is that if the baby happens to get into it I know it won't hurt him.

One more thing. I found another recipe that called for just adding 2 tbsp liquid fabric softener to a bottle of water. I haven't tried this yet. I plan too. I believe it will make more of an air freshener than an oder eliminator. I'll try it though. We are out of liquid fabric softer so I'll have to wait until I get to town. Either way it is still very much more inexpensive than the store stuff.
