My Day
My day really started last night as the baby woke up multiple times. I lost count at 14! Finally around 7:30am he woke up for good. I got him fed, diaper changed, and dressed. By that time the others had woke up. I got them breakfast made, scrambled eggs. Then changed and dressed. I started a load of laundry. With 7 people we wear more than a load a day so I'm trying to stay on top of it. Everyone pitched in and helped pick up toys and stuff that had somehow gotten scattered over the entire house. By 11:00am I was so sleepy that I could barely hold my eyes open. Jacob and Mandie said they would watch the kids while I took a short nap. I fed the baby and then went and laid down. I was able to lay down for about an hour. I didn't sleep much as I had 2 phone calls and the kids came in 2-3 times but it was better than no rest at all. I got up and made pizza for the kids for lunch. Jacob and I ate last nights left overs. We had company in the afternoon. My two nieces Shyla and Ashlee stopped by with three of their friends. My nephew Tim and his girlfriend Stacy also came by. Followed by Mandie's boyfriend Andy. Most everyone was gone by the time Jacob had to go to work at 5:00pm. It was just me and the 4 little ones. They were being pretty good but I was tired. I fixed us some fish sticks for dinner. Jacob came home for dinner about the time they were done and I offered to split my seven fish sticks with him. He declined. His loss as I was so tired nothing else was getting fixed. I think he'll have some left overs or something frozen a little later. After dinner we had 2 rounds of bathes then I read them a story and got them tucked into bed.

The house is quiet with the exception of the second load of laundry going for the day and the clicking of my keyboard.

A few of you have e-mailed me asking what all I still need. My dear friend Amie came yesterday and brought me a bunch of stuff. She's a lifesaver!

Here is a list of things that I could use if you have any extra. Please don't feel the need to have to bring them to me but this is what I could use...

  • A diaper bag!.. ok this I do need pretty bad. I'd be very happy with a cheap one that the hospital gives you, although with 4 kids under six I could really benefit from a bigger one.
  • A baby swing
  • Any extra diapers anyone may have. I can use just about any size since the baby and the 2yo wears them and then the 5yo wears pull-ups at night.
  • Girl clothes sizes 5 and 2 T.
  • A supply of Dr.Pepper and Excedrin for me. lol
