From my new vantage I can see

Pink blossoms of an apple tree

Gently swaying to and fro

As buoyant springtime breezes blow,

The waning sun still plenty warm

Enough to prompt a hungry swarm

To harvest pollen for the hive,

I marvel as they swoop and dive.

Astounding as the thought may be

We share this world in harmony

With every other spark of life

That deals with its own form of strife

But still somehow designs a way

To make it through another day.
