Shake Rattle & Roll

“Let’s dance!” said Captain Bagabones

then suddenly discordant tones

like decomposing xylophones

rang dreadfully across the stones

and with a clatter rather grim

some carcasses performed for him

discarding their departing scrim

to satisfy his morbid whim.

When Bony G took out his flute

the whole revue had quite a hoot

they knew his airs were destitute

he didn’t have the wind to toot.

Wow! Just finding four end words to rhyme is tough enough, let alone organizing them to actually have meaning and wit! Reminds me a little of something Ogden Nash might have written... Great job, Bob!
